As part of a nutritional consultation, I encourage my clients to adopt healthy lifestyles. Where necessary, referrals are made to a range of local health practitioners, for example; GPs, psychologists and psychotherapists, etc.
I currently see clients at McMahon’s Point Health on the Lower North Shore.
Initial Health Assessment & Wellness Plan
This is where your health journey starts – with an in-depth 1-on-1 consultation (60mins) we can confidentially discuss any health concerns, medical history and family medical history.
I’ll ask questions about your life and your health story so that I can understand how you got to where you are today.
We will explore areas such as your diet and lifestyle, any stress and environmental factors, and how your body systems are functioning. We’ll also review if you’re taking any medications or supplements.
Depending on your symptoms and health history, I may ask to do one of more physical examinations. This may include a full body composition measurement using bio-impedence scales, a check-up of your hair, nails and tongue and blood pressure.
We’ll meet again (usually within one week) for a 1-on-1 consultation (60mins) – where you’ll will be provided with a comprehensive wellness and treatment plan, tailor-made to suit your unique needs and to help you reach your health goals!
Follow-up visits (after your first two consultations) are typically 45mins and occur once you are on your road to wellness.
During these consultations we’ll take a deeper look into any issues we’ve uncovered. This can include reviewing pathology results and specialist reports, or recommending other relevant diagnostic tests to determine how your hormones or gut micro-biome may be affecting your overall health.
I’ll also ensure you’re on track for your goals, making any necessary changes and answering new questions you have.
These appointments are important to help keep you motivated and ultimately for you to reach your long-term health goals.
If you’ve come down with a cold, virus or are experiencing a sudden skin outbreak, an acute consultation could be the right medicine for you.
During this consultation, we’ll get straight down to formulating a practical treatment plan to treat your immediate symptoms.
