The Key4U Program
Key4U is a five-week weight loss program tailored to suit your individual needs. The program includes:
• 1 x one hour face-to-face nutritional health assessment
• 5 follow-up weekly nutritional consultations
• A box of tools and resources to help you achieve your health goals
‘The Key4U is a food plan to suit you and your lifestyle that consists of balanced proteins and healthy fats, reduced sugar and fewer refined carbohydrates.
This is not a new style of diet – it’s been around in many forms and in variations since the early 1920’s. The Key 4U was adapted from the ketogenic diet which was originally developed as a treatment for epilepsy, cancer patients and diabetes.
How does the K4U program work?
The program is designed for five weeks and you will be provided with the necessary tools and resources needed to complete the full program.
It is essential that you are closely supervised and assisted for the duration of this program. Angela will monitor your weight-loss and body composition progress weekly and make modifications to the dietary plan where required, to help you achieve your optimum healthy weight.
Why is it so effective?
Our bodies are extremely efficient at entering ketosis and metabolising fat, however, we usually don’t allow this process to initiate. By limiting your carbohydrate intake, the pancreas gets a vacation and your liver begins breaking down fat in your body, turning it into ketones for fuel. The advantage of a keto approach is that you are using your body’s full metabolic power to breakdown long-term fat stores and shift weight.
What will I need to do?
You will meet with Angela for a full one-hour health assessment initially and she will tailor-make the food plan, to suit your unique requirements.
You will then meet weekly with Angela at the end of each of the five weeks, to ensure you are on track, discuss your progress, and clarify any questions you may have.
By following all of the above, you can be certain you’ll achieve your health goals and feel fantastic.
How will I feel?
It is common to experience some initial symptoms as your body switches its metabolism pathway. These may include: headaches, nausea, lethargy and constipation. However, once your body enters full ketosis these side-effects usually subside and most people on the program report having more energy, clarity and even improved sleep.
The Key4U program includes supporting nutrients to help reduce or eliminate any side-effects and help you sustain energy.

The total cost for the five-week program includes:

Exclusions for this program include pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and anyone diagnosed with; type one diabetes, alcoholism, gall bladder disease, kidney failure, pancreatitis or has under-taken gastric by-pass surgery.

- How long do I need to be on the program for?
The program is designed for five weeks. Most people find this long enough to achieve their health goals, however, an additional five weeks can be added if you wish to exceed your health goal, in consultation and guidance with Angela.
- How much weight will I loose on the program?
Most women will loose around 5-7 kilograms on the five week program and males up to 10kilograms.
- Who is the program suitable for?
This course is suitable for anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of their body and health, particularly those who struggle with body fat mobilisation.
In particular this program is beneficial for anyone diagnosed with diabetes, insulin resistance, obesity, fatty liver, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
- Are there any health benefits other than weight loss?
Most certainly! By following the guidelines suggested in the program, you can alleviate or even eradicate a number of unhealthy symptoms you may be experiencing, i.e; foggy brain, low energy, constipation, IBS, reflux, skin breakouts, bloating, sleeping issues, anxiety and a host of other common health concerns. It will also help your body to mobilise body fat and use it as a fuel.
- Can I do the program if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
While this course is centred on helping you to enhance your health and vitality, pregnancy and breastfeeding are times when your body is primarily focused on growing a little human. It’s important not to make any significant changes during this time without consulting a medical practitioner so we would advise waiting until you’ve finished breastfeeding.
- Can I do the program if I’m a vegetarian / vegan / paleo / have food intolerances?
The program is suited to paleo and vegetarians and does not cater well for vegans.
If you have a particular food intolerance this will be discussed at your initial health assessment and if no further investigation is required, the meal plan will be adjusted to suit you and any digestive disturbances will be monitored throughout the program.
- Can I do the program if I have a heart condition?
If you have a heart condition or any cardiovascular health concerns, please consult with your qualified healthcare professional. In many cases it will be suitable, however, it is essential that your decision to participate in this course is made in conjunction with a medical professional.
- Can I do the program if I’m taking medication?
If you are taking any prescribed medications, please consult with your qualified healthcare professional before signing up for this program.
- Is this program suitable for all ages?
This course is designed for those aged 18yrs and above, who are medically approved to start a journey towards greater health. As you may also find it assists with symptoms such as PMS, irritability, moodiness, headaches, migraines, constipation, IBS, reflux, skin breakouts, bloating, sleeping issues, anxious feelings, foggy brain, exhaustion.
- Is there anything else I need to buy or do once I’ve signed up for the program?
Once you’ve signed up, there’s nothing else you need to purchase apart from your day to day food, which is outlined in the handbook (food table) and then attend your weekly consultations with me. The food and wellness tracker includes a space for you to journal how you’re feeling and note questions for discussion at your next consultation, this can be useful if you’re someone who benefits from writing things down.
